Research Interests
Singlet Fission in Organic Semiconductors
Singlet fission is a process where a singlet exciton converts into two triplet excitons. This is an ultrafast process that can double the photocurrency in organic photovoltaics.
We are working on the understanding of the fission mechanism using kinetic models and electronic structure calculations.
